As to your question, as far as I know, there is no working maphack yet for 1.12. There have been cracks made for the 1.11 maphack to run in 1.12. Simple map revealer for Diablo II v1.14 by FIRK How to use: 1) Select your Diablo II window from list 2) Be sure that you are in game with your character standing still. 2) Press 'REVEAL' button. 3) Current act will be revealed. If Diablo II window not shows in list, try to run as administrator. It unloads immediately after revealing as usual.
This maphack is based on BH maphack, written by McGod from the blizzhackersforum. It was extensively customized for the slashdiablo realm by Deadlock39,who created versions 0.1.1 and 0.1.2.
Currently works with client versions 1.13c and 1.13d
Major features include:

###Before we start
- You cannot have a Diablo II that was installed from a Battle.net installer it needs to be installed from .ISO or physical disc
- If you have neither you can download the Torrent from D2Mule.com
- Download the Version Hack: 114d.rar
- Make sure your Diablo II is running on patch 1.13d as seen below, if you are running a different verison place
